My name is Kidus Yosef, the founder and owner of Diro Ethiopia Tours. I am an internationally recognized tour guide certified by the International Air Transport Association and I have been in the business for many years.

 

In Amharic, Diro means 'past', this name reminds us that although Ethiopia is always growing and changing, our past and our heritage, will always be what makes us strong and unique. Our logo- the African Fish Eagle- is my favorite bird in Ethiopia and symbolizes freedom and meaningful journeys. Thus, Diro Ethiopia Tours was born.

During your stay I hope to share with you my love and knowledge for Ethiopia. Starting with the many different people and traditions of the land as well as my passion for Ethiopian Wildlife, especially its birds.
